Recently, a reel featuring a Ukranian vlogger tasting vada pav in Goa took Instagram by storm. In the now-viral video, we see Svitlana Haienko visiting an old eating joint and interacting with the person running the place as well as a few of the customers. The reel shows Svitlana going up to the vada pav spot and asking for one. She inquires about the price, which the vendor says is Rs 20.

She takes a bite and declares “It’s tasty, delicious.” The person manning the shop says, “We have been very famous in Goa”. She asks him his name and how long the establishment has been around for. Rupesh reveals that it has been there for 40-50 years. He explains that before him, his father used to run the shop. Svitlana asks one of the customers if it is a famous place and he says “Yes”. He also offers to pay for her vada pav. While Svitlana tries to counter him, he insists.

Part of her caption reads, “Namaste Doston! I can’t believe that once I tasted Vada Pao I knew immediately why it is so famous in India, it’s very tasty and from the outside it’s soft. I was shocked to see this Indian guy has had the shop for around 50 years which is a big thing according to me!” The reel has received over 4.5 million views so far. The comments section was full of appreciative remarks.
