When our minds are racing to find something quick, easy and light for breakfast, eggs have always come to our rescue. Calling them a breakfast saviour, would be an understatement when in reality they have often given us a respite from those odd-hour hunger pangs. Preparing its boiled version has to be the quickest and the healthiest egg recipe out there. But peeling them, without breaking the albumen seems like a task. Well, not anymore, as the internet has blessed us with an innovative boiled egg peeling hack. The clip was shared by chef Anatolii Dobrovolskyi, exhibiting a street vendor, believed to be Indian, using the new technique. Guess what? The vendor’s demonstration of this peeling hack also elicited a reaction from the chef himself.

The now-viral clip opens to show the vendor cracking the top part of the eggshell. He then starts peeling it with his fingers. A few seconds later, he uses a spoon to peel the boiled egg. On witnessing this, the chef, out of curiosity, goes on to try the hack himself. Guess what? This life hack truly works. Sharing the video, the chef wrote, “Testing the Viral Egg Peeling Lifehack! Can we really peel an egg this easily? Watch till the end for a hilarious surprise!”

The clip has managed to garner a lot of attention on social media. While many confessed that it is a brilliant life hack, a few revealed that they have been using this technique for quite some time now. A user said, “I’ve been peeling hard-boiled eggs like this all my life. I never understood why people go the extra mile to dip in iced water. So strange. This way is 123, done. And I love eating my hardboiled eggs while they’re still hot. Mmmmmm.”

“I thought everyone did this,” read another.

A few claimed that peeling eggs with bare hands is faster than this technique. “I can do it faster with my hands.”

Giving a shout-out to the chef, a user said, “Even though he’s the chef, he won’t stop learning. Come on guys.”
